Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) Talent Link Group, LLC Irvington, NY 10533 Overview Talent Link Group is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential programs across the five boroughs of NYC and Westchester County. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team, ensuring quality healthcare and support services in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage medical care for individuals in assigned residential programs Arrange appointments and issue medical referrals Provide follow-up care and monitor ongoing health concerns Deliver training to staff on topics including medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and first aid Lead infection control efforts and report communicable diseases as needed Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, annual reviews, and case conferences Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Administer medications and supervise certified staff in medication administration Oversee storage and compliance related to medications Train and support Licensed Practical Nurses and new RNs Provide emergency first aid and coordinate with external emergency services when required Visit individuals in their residences as needed Attend meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled Help maintain the nursing office and manage medical supply inventory Occasionally transport individuals to medical appointments
Qualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York (required) CPR/BLS Certification (required) Valid NYS Driver’s License (preferred, not required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism Familiarity with adaptive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, assistive devices) Willingness to travel to various program sites within the five boroughs
Education & Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Preferred:
