RN Staff Development & Risk Management Nurse Uniontown Nursing and Rehab Uniontown, PA 15401 • Hybrid work At Uniontown Nursing and Rehab , we’re more than just a skilled nursing facility — we’re a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents and empowering our staff. We’re currently searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for education, mentorship, and resident safety to take on the dual role of Staff Development Coordinator and Risk Management Nurse .
Your Role Matters:
What You’ll Do As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll shape the future of our clinical staff and ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant care across our community. This hybrid role is dynamic, fulfilling, and critical to the success of our team.
Staff Development Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging in-services, orientation, and ongoing training programs for nursing and clinical staff. Promote staff competency, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance through innovative education. Partner with department heads to assess training needs and foster a culture of lifelong learning. Maintain detailed records of education, certifications, and competencies.
Risk Management Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate clinical incidents, trends, and near misses to reduce risk and enhance outcomes. Lead investigations, develop corrective action plans, and track progress. Serve as a resource on regulatory requirements and advocate for a proactive safety culture. Collaborate with leadership to ensure quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) goals are met. What We’re Looking For RN license in Pennsylvania (required). Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Knowledge of infection control, quality improvement, and clinical regulations (BONUS if you love policies and process improvement!).
