As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Perform specialized procedures such as gastric lavage, triage, and DME management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings such as PICU, hospice palliative medicine, and memory care units. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards. Skills Proficiency in performing gastric lavage and triage procedures. Experience working in a Level II trauma center or similar high-acuity environments. Knowledge of dementia care practices and memory care strategies. Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine principles. Ability to operate mammography equipment is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
