The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and patient assessment. This role requires the ability to perform physical examinations, utilize medical imaging techniques, and provide exceptional care in a teaching hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately. Perform physical examinations and interpret medical imaging results. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes. Lift and assist patients as needed to ensure their comfort and safety. Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and participate in continuing education. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Previous experience in a teaching hospital or ambulatory surgery center is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with coding practices related to nursing documentation is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
