The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with a focus on infusion therapy, providing high-quality care to patients in various settings. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients prior to infusion therapy. Administer injections and manage intravenous (IV) infusions while monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and document changes in patient conditions throughout the infusion process. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and home care instructions. Assist with medical imaging as needed to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure sterile processing of equipment used for infusion therapy. Offer specialized care for senior patients, including those requiring botulinum toxin treatment or pediatric patients when applicable. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Proven experience administering injections and managing IV infusions. Strong knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality. Experience in senior care or home care settings is preferred. Background in medical imaging is a plus. Ability to perform sterile processing techniques effectively. Experience working with children is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on patient education.
