Job Summary and Qualifications As a Credentialing Verifier, you will be responsible for credentialing activities including initial credentialing, re- credentialing and credential modifications. General Responsibilities :

F acilitate high quality, timely and accurate credentialing process for healthcare professionals C ompile applications for submission to the practitioner R eview applications for completeness and take action to correct deficiencies E nsure that all credential files are current and complete P repare credentialing and re-credentialing applications for process review

Qualifications :

Understanding of professional telephone etiquette and customer service experience a must Typing speed of at least 50 WPM At least 1 year of office experience including data entry, typing and computer proficiency Credentialing experience preferred & Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred High School graduate or GED. Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
