Responsibilities
- Deliver proficient, holistic care under thedirection of an ordering physician/clinician.
- Documentrespiratory interventions, outcomes, and plan-of-care revisions.
- Provide status reports and offer recommendations during patientcare rounds.
- Maintain therapeutic relationships with families,incorporating diverse needs and methods of coping into treatmentplans.
- Adhere to the American Association of Respiratory Care’sClinical Practices Guidelines and CHOP’s organizational policiesand procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary committees,shared governance initiatives, research activities, and thedevelopment of policies and procedures.
- Incorporate research andquality improvement findings into clinical practice.
- Identifylearning needs; propose and participate in educational activities;and apply new training, skills, and knowledge to daily work.
