Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Daytona Beach, FL for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development within an educational setting.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Delivering therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language outcomes Monitoring and documenting student progress with accuracy and detail Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care Engaging and educating families to support therapy goals and student success Qualifications and experience desired: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Additional requirements: Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Florida Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology This opportunity offers comprehensive professional support, including access to an experienced advisory team made up of licensed SLP professionals within the state.
