About the
Job:
The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is looking for a full-time Speech Therapist to join our team! NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologists and NYS Certified Speech Teachers are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will provide service to students with moderate to severe disabilities in integrated settings. This is a 10-month position, following the school calendar, with an opportunity to work over the summer.
Responsibilities:
Develop therapy and treatment plans for students with speech disorders. Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders. Establish treatment goals and milestones with students. Update student progress to relevant parties.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with communication disorders. Ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and families. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive and patient demeanor. The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is a great place to work, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Starting salary is $54,308. Pay will be higher with experience.
