Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Req # 27503 Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides technical assistance during surgical procedures utilizing sterile technique to ensure quality patient care and safety. Provides direct and indirect nursing care for the pediatric to geriatric patient populations found in the hospital setting. Surgical Technologist will scrub and assist in all service lines of the operating room.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent. Certification is required. If you graduated after 1/1/08 you must be certified. All candidates that graduated prior to 1/1/08 will be eligible for consideration. Surgical technologists that are not certified may be hired but must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
