Travel Job Description As an echo ultrasonographer, echo, alsocalled an echocardiographer or cardiac sonographer, you will useechocardiograms to take images of patients’ hearts. Working in ahospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center orother healthcare facility, you’ll prepare patients forechocardiograms, operate equipment, process images for radiologistsand physicians and handle patient records.
