The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a non-student, looking for a supplemental income. Duties Prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cheesecakes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all products are fresh, visually appealing, and meet quality specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with all staff to manage inventory and ensure timely production of baked items for service. Monitor baking equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, addressing their inquiries about baked products. Experience Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Skills in food management will be beneficial for maintaining cost-effective operations. A background in customer service is valuable for enhancing guest interactions, but not required.
