Barista:

Weekdays This job can range from 10 to 20 hours a week depending on what we need and your availability. This job is primarily for mornings and may include mid-day. Your day would start at 6:30AM. We need someone who can work well with a team! Don’t worry we can train you! This is NOT your regular type of work experience. Our owners are focused on a positive atmosphere with great incentives and benefits! Requesting time off is NEVER an issue. We’re a Veteran-owned coffee shop in Apex and we’re looking for people who want to serve the community as coffee shop baristas.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards Properly handle and maintain all equipment Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures Serve customers quickly and efficiently Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings Observe relevant health and safety standards Qualifications for Barista Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred, but don’t stress, we can teach you! Ability to read and speak English proficiently Strong ability to multi-task Basic mathematical skills Ability to problem solve quickly Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to follow directions

Pay:

$8 – $11 per hour (Plus Tips)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Ages 15 and up Current food safety certification
