Join us in creating great coffee and a welcoming space for all! Job Description We are looking for passionate baristas to bring the vision of Mush Coffee to life. As a barista, you will create high-quality coffee beverages, including our unique mushroom coffee blend, and provide exceptional customer service to build a loyal customer base in East Rockaway. This position is perfect for coffee lovers who enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and want to work locally in Nassau County. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and serve espresso, pour-over coffee, and mushroom coffee blends with precision and consistency. Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner to share our health-focused mushroom coffee products. Maintain a clean and organized bar area and adhere to all health and safety standards. Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently. Work with a team to ensure smooth daily operations and create a positive in-store atmosphere. Actively contribute ideas to enhance the customer experience and promote the unique brand of Mush Coffee. Requirements 1+ years of experience as a barista or hospitality provider preferred (training available for less experience). Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to creating a memorable experience for customers. Familiarity with espresso machines, coffee brewing techniques, or specialty coffee preferred. Flexible work schedules, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts (part-time or full-time shifts available). Preference given to residents of East Rockaway, Lynbrook, Oceanside, Rockville Center, or other Nassau County areas with an easy commute to One Dock Street, East Rockaway, NY 11518. Passion for healthy coffee, with a particular focus on mushroom coffee blends, will be highly valued. Dependable, strong team player, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
