Bobarista/Barista (Long-term Morning Shifts needed!!) Fly me to the moon cafe Syosset, NY 11791 Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the front of house. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Assist in bussing tables and ensuring a clean dining area. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and payments. Maintain knowledge of menu items to assist guests with inquiries. Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Sanitate work areas regularly to uphold health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions effectively. Experience with food handling and preparation is a plus. Knowledge of retail math concepts can be beneficial for managing orders and inventory. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
