Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced setting. As a Barista at Pinewood Social, you will craft high-quality coffee beverages, engage with guests, and contribute to the overall positive experience of our space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to company standards.
• Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service to all guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring it is clean and in proper working condition.
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in restocking supplies, inventory management, and general café upkeep.
• Educate customers about different coffee options and menu offerings.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous barista experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for coffee, food, and hospitality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
