Server/Bartender The Gulf Club Destin Destin, FL 32541 Job Summary We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Servers and Bartenders to join our upbeat team. We are a new Sports Pub and Restaurant that has an elevated atmosphere. We are crafting an experience for our guests that they have never had in this area. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, including taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system; process payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Promote a positive atmosphere by interacting with guests in a friendly manner and addressing any concerns promptly. Skills Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with knowledge of guest services and relations. It is not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Toast or similar platforms. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
