Bartender/Server The Guest House Bar & Bistro 2945 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY 11756 The Guest House is a modern Meditereannean bar and bistro located in Levittown, Long Island. Our cuisine is influenced by the vibrant flavors of the entire Meditereannean region, combining regional tastes with an American twist. We take pride in our homemade, always fresh dishes that have been delighting and exciting our customers since we opened in March 2024.

Job Summary:

We’re looking to add to our growing team by bringing on an experienced, customer-centric, enthusiastic bartender who can provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cocktails, custom drinks, wine, beer, soft drinks, and more
• Present drinks with Guest House standards, including garnishing, using proper glassware, etc.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Deliver food and beverages promptly
• Provide excellent guest services and address any inquiries or concerns
• Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness at the bar
• Utilize Toast POS system for order processing
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience

Skills:

• Previous bartending experience is necessary
• Proficiency in guest services, kitchen operations, and guest relations
• Strong cash handling skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Familiarity with Toast’s POS system is a plus
