The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming breakfast experience for our guests in a hotel setting. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all breakfast items are stocked and presented beautifully. The Breakfast Attendant will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh and attractively displayed. Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as necessary throughout the breakfast service. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing friendly and helpful service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations. Handle cash register transactions accurately when applicable. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and preparation. Assist in banquet or catering events as needed, providing support with food service during special occasions. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques, with an emphasis on presentation and quality. Experience in hotel or catering environments is preferred. Knowledge of meat cutting is a plus for those involved in preparing specific breakfast items. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Basic cash register skills for processing guest transactions effectively. Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment throughout service hours.
