Job Description
Temporary Food Service/Kitchen Worker, Cornell Dining – Multiple Positions Available These positions will have an August 18, 2025 start date. In this position you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn how to: Prepare and present food items for a diverse customer audience. Maintain food standards and health codes. Provide excellent customer service to guests. Operate point-of-sale retail systems. Wash, organize, and stock all key items. Ensure unit cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. Required Qualifications Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential. Basic reading and English speaking skills. Demonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (30+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping as needed.
