Expo/Busser Hanabi Hibachi & Sushi 1624 Main St, Columbia, SC 29201 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter/Busser to join our team in the fast-paced environment of the food service industry. The Expediter/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic setting and possess a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to clarify order details and address any discrepancies. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring it meets our high standards. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area as needed. Help train new staff members on proper procedures and standards related to order processing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Experience in the food industry, particularly within restaurants or hotels, is highly desirable.
