Please make sure you can supports the head chef in a kitchen by helping with food preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Food preparation : Assist with cooking and preparing food to menu specifications Inventory management : Monitor and order ingredients, and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies Kitchen maintenance : Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, and ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic Menu development : Contribute to menu development and follow recipes Food safety : Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines Kitchen organization : Organize and stock kitchen supplies Kitchen collaboration : Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate activities Kitchen training : Train other kitchen staff and develop projects to improve food production and customer service Qualifications Proven cooking skills Experience working in a kitchen Strong teamwork abilities Willingness to work a flexible schedule Knowledge of culinary standards and terminology Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift heavy objects Attention to detail Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo
