The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pizza restaurant operations, with a focus on food safety, dough, pizza cooking and quality control. As the Head Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for food preparation, dough making, pizza cooking and maintaining the highest standards of food handling in our kitchen. Your leadership will inspire creativity and excellence among the kitchen staff while ensuring that our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Duties Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to dietary needs. Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to enhance their skills in food handling and preparation techniques. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations. Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant’s standards for fine dining experiences. Experience Proven experience as Pizza Chef / Line Cook at Pizza / American style restaurant. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and knife skills Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to effectively manage kitchen staff. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy kitchen setting.
