As we plan our long-term growth and expansion, with the goal of ultimately providing 24/7 service for our members, the Concierge welcomes members into our community with sincere hospitality. Our spaces are a warm and welcoming home where members can create the life they dream of, with our support.
Responsibilities include:
- Keep members “Safe, Secure, and Happy.” Maintain all access control per procedure; report any potential hazards, unsafe activity, or member concerns to building staff and/or local authorities, and maintain responsibility for safety of public access areas
- Follow our procedures and report any misconduct in the building, and any nuisance complaints or breach of safety. Report any access issues and follow protocol for lockouts
- Know your member: provide courteous, attentive, and individualized hospitality for our members based on their needs, lifestyles, and personalities; become familiar with them and learn their names and preferences
- Roll out the red carpet for our members and their visitors, consistently representing our brand and mission with a warm and welcoming greeting. Make them feel as welcome as a family member and get them up to speed on how to navigate our services and spaces with ease
- Manage lobby activities including package acceptance and inventory, announcing visitors, and assisting members as needed
- Stock supplies for lobby and concierge desk, tidy and stock gym area
- Complete shift handover report and checklist upon shift start and end
- Develop a strong knowledge of the properties you support, and the surrounding community, including retail and service providers, parking and transportation options
- Keep our physical spaces beautiful, and escalate any maintenance requests to our property operations teams
- Familiarize yourself with and follow all DVORA Team procedures; in an emergency such as a fire alarm, stay calm and follow protocols to keep everyone safe.
- Assist fellow team members by swapping shifts, being flexible when coverage is needed; accept other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Promptly report issues and member concerns to the appropriate team, with the help of our proprietary app and unique service model
- Promote and book internal and partner services which support our members’ lifestyles, including: fitness classes, events, art shows, lectures, retail, and amenities subscriptions Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proficient computer knowledge, including MS Office; able to navigate and show others how to use our proprietary app
- Must be able to stand for 50 minutes out of each hour, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communicator in writing and face-to-face
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and overtime Preferred Skills
- Background in hospitality, hotel, and/or service industries
