Cook for Assisted Living The Joy Senior Living 434 Conyers Rd, Loganville, GA 30052 Cook at The Joy Senior Living The Joy Senior Living, a community for senior citizens in Loganville, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our team. Our mission is to provide nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life. Responsibilities:
Safely prepare and cook meals, specifically lunch and dinner prep, according to provided menus and recipes. Ensure that all meals are prepared with attention to detail and meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and available Collaborate with staff to create a positive dining experience for residents. Follow established procedures for portion control and food handling. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment, including dishwashing, in compliance with sanitary guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a personal care home or similar setting. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in the well-being of senior citizens. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
