Job Overview:

We are seeking a Morning Prep to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and menu planning, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. We are open Thursday-Monday. The hours are 7am-2pm. An opportunity to work on the counter for some hours in the morning and make tips is a possibility for the right candidate but not required.

Duties:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing
• slicing meats and cheese.

• Assist in menu planning and meal preparation
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Support catering and dietary department needs as required

Skills:

• Experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
