Job Description Overview We are looking for individuals withgreat attention to detail to join our kitchen team as aDishwasher/Steward. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic andtremendous attention to detail, in the care they take inmaintaining the cleanliness of the hotel’s kitchen areas. This roletruly is part of the “Heart of the House” and provides key servicesfor culinary and food service teams so they can provide greatservice to our guests. Your Role:

• You will have the opportunity to interactwith team members and create a positive and upbeat work environment
• You will maintain a daily sanitation log for both dish machineand manual pot wash sink
• You will ensure the work areas are leftready and communicate any items that are not ready
• You will leadour Green initiatives by properly recycling all cardboard using thecompactor
• You will also be energy conscious and turn off lightswhen not in use keeps water faucets turned off and reports anyleaks to a supervisor
• You will be a key player in safety bypaying close attention to specific high traffic areas to avoidaccidents, slips, trips, and falls
• You will use proper dish andglass racks to ensure proper cleaning and avoid chips, cracks, orbreakage of small wares
• You will use your time wisely andproactively clean and sanitize all equipment in slow times tomaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment
• You willhave the opportunity to learn different tasks within the kitchenand develop new skills
