Dishwasher Foxy’s Fishers Landing, NY 13641 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly, allowing our cooks and food service staff to focus on delivering exceptional meals. This position is essential for supporting our food preparation and service efforts in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards. Support the culinary team during banquets or catering events by providing necessary assistance in food handling and preparation. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of culinary practices is a plus, including food preparation techniques. Familiarity with sanitation practices related to dishwashing and food handling.
