In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring that all food handling practices meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace by following sanitation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Support chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed during meal service. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards. Participate in the setup and breakdown of catering events or banquets as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or catering services is advantageous. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
