Job Responsibilities:

Driving too and from event sites both locally and out of state in a company or rented vehicle. Unloading catering, cooking, and event equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including tents, buffet lines, dining tables, entertainment areas, and kitchen areas. Working under the instructions of both your Senior Lead Event Manager and your fellow peer Event Managers. Adhering to event and DOT safety standards. Ensuring excellent levels of customer service. Preparation and serving food and drinks, facilitating games and entertainment activities. Inspecting and packing up equipment when the event is completed.

Education and Experience:

Experience in a related field such as food/beverage, restaurant, customer service, or events, is suggested but not required.

Requirements:

Must have a clean DMV record and be able to obtain DOT Medical Card. Must be willing to work weekdays and weekends. Outstanding organizational skills. Diligence and attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor. Physical stamina and high energy levels. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to perform under stress. Excellent multitasking ability. Conflict management skills. Great communication skills. Ability to assist fellow staff members and work with others as a team. Must adhere to all DOT standards at all times while driving.

Managerial and Business Skills:

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Types:

Part-time, Contract, Temporary Pay:

$175.00 – $275.00 per day
