This position requires a passion for food preparation and an understanding of food safety standards. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Assist customers with their orders, providing excellent service and product knowledge. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and grills. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation. Skills Experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for handling retail math related to portioning ingredients and managing inventory. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
