Shipping & Receiving Team Member – 2nd Shift 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars 416 Valley Rd, Tamaqua, PA 18252 Koch’s Turkey Farm (“Koch’s”), located in the Lewistown Valley near Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, is seeking full-time Shipping/Receiving team members for its second shift operations. Hours for this shift will be 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, some overtime may be required. Koch’s is a vertically-integrated, family-owned poultry production and processing facility and is a leader in the All Natural, Antibiotic Free, and Organic Poultry industry. Founded in 1939, Koch’s is in its fourth generation of family management and is a sound, rapidly-growing poultry business. These Team Members are responsible for the safe and thorough execution of the Company’s shipping and receiving functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ability to work in a cooler/freezer, refrigerated dock, and poultry production plant Ability to lift and stack boxes up to 70 lbs. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments at one time Ability to drive electric pallet jacks and forklifts Complete daily order fulfillment in a timely manner Maintain dock safety and housekeeping (SQF standards) Maintain freezer in an easily accessible, orderly manner Assist in Inventory Management Able to work with the Sales and Operations Teams Ability to use scan gun or computer to enter data and print documents as needed The ideal candidates for these positions are self-motivated and responsible for executing various roles in Shipping & Receiving and Freezer areas. Approximately 90% of this position is physical dock work loading/unloading trucks, working with production staff to obtain, place or locate product needed; the clerical functions are no more than 10% of this position.
