$31.8K – $40.3K a year 9 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1 year Entry level Full Job Description Summary Under the supervision of the department food service production manager, is responsible for preparation of cold and hot food including but not limited to recipe ingredient control, tray line assembly/short order and vending production. Distributing food items for consumption by patients, staff, and customers. Follows department and sanitary guidelines. Education High school or equivalent (GED). Certification, Registration & Licensure None required. Experience Minimum of one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities Prepares food both hot and cold following departmental and sanitary standards. Prepares daily production amounts. Completes daily and weekly housekeeping chores. Adheres to all hospital, department and regulatory policies and procedures including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards. Utilizes departmental equipment operations.
