Hostess/Busser Wexford 2836 East Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL 33613 Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent guest services will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart. Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring a clean dining area. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed. Support the overall hospitality efforts of the restaurant by fostering a positive guest experience. Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests alike. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area.
