Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and gracious Lead Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Lead Host sets the tone for the dining experience with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about hospitality and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome all guests and ensure a seamless, elevated arrival experience Manage reservations and optimize table assignments using Opentable Anticipate guest needs, including special occasions, VIPs, and regulars Lead and mentor the host team to maintain consistency and professionalism Communicate effectively with the management and service teams to ensure smooth dining room flow Handle guest inquiries, wait times, and any service recovery with grace and discretion Uphold brand standards and create a hospitable, inclusive front-of-house atmosphere

Qualifications:

2+ years of lead host in a fine dining or upscale restaurant Familiarity with Opentable or similar reservation platforms Strong organizational and multitasking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Natural poise and polished communication style Ability to lead by example and support team development Passion for hospitality, guest engagement, and high service standards If you thrive in an upscale, chef-driven environment that genuinely values its team and guests, then Erba Miami is the place for you.
