Full Job Description Job Title:
Front Desk Associate We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive until the time they depart. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, hard worker, great with people, and possess exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities and Duties Greet guests upon arrival, register them into the hotel system, and assign them rooms based on their preferences and availability. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs and ensure all methods of payment are properly handled and transactions are accurately corroborated. Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information on all shift events and handling guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally. Ensure all rates are accurate and make guest reservations efficiently, multitasking guest requests and needs. Understand and get involved with the entire hotel operations, enforce hotel and brand standards, and ensure Elite Customer Service is delivered at all times. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the front lobby and assist with basic hotel maintenance and upkeep as needed. Identify and report any safety and security issues that require attention and take necessary actions to address them. Proactively recognize and address guest concerns, and identify sales opportunities to increase revenue. Assist with the laundry of room sheets and towels, and neatly fold and arrange them.
Qualifications and Skills:
SynXis system experience highly preferred. High School education or equivalent is required. At least 1 year of hotel front desk experience is mandatory and will be verified. Strong customer service and communication skills with a passion for providing excellent guest experience. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work weekends and holidays. Computer proficiency with knowledge of hotel property system preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, with excellent problem identification and resolution skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts.
Schedule:
8-12 hour shifts Weekend availability required.
