Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse facility, including restrooms, break areas, and common spaces. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum warehouse floors and common areas Clean and sanitize restrooms, and break areas daily Remove trash and recycling materials from designated areas and dispose of properly Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment routinely Restock cleaning supplies, restroom paper products, and hand sanitizers as needed Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues Maintain the exterior grounds around dock areas and facility entrances as needed Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures Report any unsafe conditions, spills, or damages to appropriate personnel promptly Support warehouse staff with special cleaning projects as directed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, debris, and varying temperatures May be required to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on facility needs
