Job Summary:
- The City of Forrest City is hiring
- Full-Time and Part-TimeLifeguards
- to join our team at the
- Forrest City Aquatic Center
- ,located inside the
- Sports Complex Multi-Purpose Health & WellnessCenter
- . Lifeguards will be responsible for ensuring the safety of allpatrons, enforcing pool regulations, and maintaining a clean andwelcoming aquatic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise swimmers and enforce pool rules to ensure a safe and enjoyableenvironment.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescuesand first aid situations.
Administer
- CPR, First Aid, and AED assistance
- as needed.
Conduct routine safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, equipment, andsurrounding areas.
Participate in staff training, emergency drills, and continuingeducation programs.
Provide excellent customer service to all facility visitors.
Assist with swim lessons, aquatic programs, or special events as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Parks Director.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least
- 16 years old
Strong swimming skills and ability to remain focused for extendedperiods.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends,and holidays.

Work Environment:
- Indoor aquatic facility with varying humidity and temperature levels.
Physically demanding role requiring standing, swimming, and occasionallifting, and maintenance of pool area.
