Camp By The Sea at the Katz JCC is seeking certified Lifeguards to join our dynamic team for Summer 2025. Our camp offers a vibrant, enriching environment for kids ages 2-16 to grow, explore, and thrive–and we need vigilant, energetic staff to keep our campers safe.
What You’ll Do:
Guard & Guide:
Supervise campers during all water-based activities–pool, ocean, waterparks, and boating trips.
Act Fast:
Provide emergency care including rescues, CPR, and first aid as needed.
Maintain:
Help keep our pools, and equipment clean, safe, and up to standard.
Engage:
Support camp-wide programs and contribute to an inclusive, fun, and supportive environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
What You’ll Need:
Current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certification (from a recognized provider-preferable American Red Cross)
Strong swimming skills and calm under pressure.
Experience working with children.
Ability to communicate clearly, follow protocols, and work as part of a team.
