Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and hard-working individual to join our team as a Lifeguard! The responsibilities of Lifeguards at our beach club contain ensuring the safety of guests at our pool facility. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth, fun, development, and solid working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool area to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
• Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns
• Perform first aid and CPR when necessary
• Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and testing water quality
• Assist with pool setup and breakdown for events or activities
• Attend regular training sessions to maintain lifeguard certification

Requirements:

• Must be a certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in various situations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or sitting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with working in previous lifeguarding environments, but this can also be developed through training!
• Knowledge of pool chemicals and water treatment procedures I am looking for a great group of people that have great energy and a hard-working attitude!

There will be many opportunities to be active around the club including; kids camp, swim team, water safety workouts and trainings. This is a great first job opportunity for high-school kids!
