Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens, towels, and uniforms. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items. Follow all operational protocols for handling chemicals and equipment safely. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes is a plus. Ability to clean effectively while paying attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
