Specialty Cleaning Technician The Huber Group Pittsburgh, PA 15222 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective cleaning procedures. Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean windows and surfaces; and sanitize restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established protocols for handling hazardous materials and waste disposal. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
