Houseperson 90 Jonquil Hospitality, LLC 14 James P Murphy Ind Hwy, West Warwick, RI 02893 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, public restrooms, gym, and other public areas, ensuring all spaces meet hotel standards. Assist guests with requests. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain cleanliness and presentation. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in all cleaning tasks. Skills Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy hotel setting. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
