Job Description
Recreation Staff 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 3617 Parsons Blvd, Queens, NY 11354 The Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation & Nursing is looking for an energetic, responsible and compassionate individual to join our dynamic recreation team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Help residents make phone calls and video chats. Help transport wheelchair bound residents to various activities throughout the building. Participating in resident centered events such as birthdays, bingo, trivia, crafts and a variety of other group activities. Assist in ensuring Covid compliance with visitors. Overseeing all paperwork is accurately filled out and serve as the point person for visitors checking into the facility. (This will be on a rotating schedule of 9am-9pm)
Qualifications:
Responsible and reliable. Comfortable working with a senior population. Positive, cheerful and helpful attitude. Attention to detail. Weekend availability. Prior recreation experience preferred. Familiarity with rapid covid-19 testing desired. High school degree, college degree preferred. Individual will be working on the unit with small group activities and on Saturdays, he or she will be working in central room.
