Reservation Agent:
The Reservation Agent plays a critical role in the efficient running of the front desk. The chief responsibilities of a reservationist are; addressing concerns regarding reservations and advising on procedures and policies related to the business. As a reservation agent, you’ll determine availability on certain dates and reserve rooms for travelers. Using a computer, phone and fax machine, you’ll be responsible for computing rates and fees, helping guests determine the best room for their needs. You’ll also request and accept payment in various forms, and be required to ensure accurate inventory, such as that relating to available rooms in our resort.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills are important, as is a degree of computer literacy. Be able to provide a warm introduction to all customers, deal courteously and promptly with any rental inquiries and especially customer problems or concerns. Talk, listen and maintain patience to help resolve conflicts with customers. Effectively find the root cause of issues, and communicate clearly in a friendly way to solve the issue and keep the customer happy. Answer incoming telephone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Convert incoming inquiries promptly into reservations. Possess computer office skills including but not limited to, reservation software familiarity, word processing, scanning, file storage and email. In some cases social media utilization. Prepare check-in packets and rental agreements. Must be able to speak, read and write English Reliable transportation is a must.
Valid Florida Driver License Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Schedule:
Part-time Approximately 24 Hours/Week Monday, Tuesday, Saturday 8:00A.M.-4:30P.M.
