This role is designed to equip you with the skills and experience you need to become a Store Manager. You’ll receive hands-on training from experienced Store Managers and Retail Area Managers, gaining the knowledge to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and create an exceptional experience for our customers. As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a $500 sign-on bonus• (paid after 6 months of employment) and a $500 retention bonus• (paid after 1 year).

Position Overview The Manager in Training – Café is responsible for learning and assisting with the leadership, oversight, and execution of the Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) operations within a designated Rebel Convenience Store. This role ensures high standards in customer service, food safety, team development, and operational excellence are met consistently. The position prepares individuals for promotion to Café Manager through hands-on learning and leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Learn and demonstrate effective leadership across all Café operations and personnel. Provide daily direction, training, and performance feedback to Café team members. Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of Café staff. Assist with scheduling and labor management to meet business and staffing needs. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer-first attitudes. Customer Service Excellence Maintain a visible presence in the Café to engage with customers and resolve issues promptly. Ensure every guest receives prompt, friendly, and personalized service. Lead by example in delivering a welcoming, clean, and safe dining environment. Operational Excellence Learn all Café processes including food preparation, equipment usage, and safety procedures. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal foodservice regulations. Ensure proper food rotation, waste reduction, and freshness standards are consistently upheld. Support inventory management, ordering, and invoice verification. Assist with daily and weekly inventory audits and control practices. Safety, Sanitation & Maintenance Monitor food safety standards and enforce cleanliness protocols in all QSR areas. Ensure employees follow all safety guidelines and report hazards or accidents. Perform and oversee routine maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and café facilities. Business & Administrative Duties Understand and assist with financial performance metrics including food cost, labor cost, and sales targets. Learn to prepare and analyze reports related to café operations and employee performance. Support the completion of employee evaluations, discipline, and coaching. Qualifications Previous foodservice, QSR, or restaurant experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn and apply company policies, systems, and procedures. Able to perform physical requirements of the role including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and repetitive motion tasks. Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
