The General Manager is expected to lead operations and manage the team ensuring we are delivering an exceptional experience to all our guests. Tambo is poised to bring great service , delicious food and drinks, and a lasting guest experience, and the General Manager is an essential part of it.

WHO YOU ARE

You have at least 4 years experience of managing Food and Beverage departments. You have an in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and can easily create relationships with your staff, customers and vendors. You are reliable, passionate, resourceful, and organized.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs. Suggest and apply continuous improvements to the operations of Tambo Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff. Create staff schedules weekly and collaborate with HR/Finance to process payroll. Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs. Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges. Building positive relationships with food and beverage vendors. Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure invoices and payments are processed. Adhering to the food and beverage budget. Managing daily food and beverage operations. Following food and safety regulations. You can properly delegate to efficiently manage all the responsibilities. Assisting with marketing events, including site tours and managing events the day-of. Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
