Assistant Housing Manager 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Seekonk, MA 02771 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and outgoing Housing Manager to oversee the operations of our housing facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment for residents. This role requires a strong understanding of property management and crisis intervention techniques. The Housing Manager will work closely with residents and staff to promote a positive living experience while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of housing facilities, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Oversee resident intake processes, including conducting interviews and assessments. Implement and maintain property management systems for efficient record-keeping. Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing any issues related to addiction counseling or crisis management. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met. Facilitate workshops or programs that promote resident engagement and personal development. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support services for residents. Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a strong understanding of housing regulations. Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and motivational interviewing is highly desirable. Experience in crisis intervention and crisis management is essential for addressing resident needs effectively. Knowledge of legal aspects related to housing, including Fair Housing laws, is required. Proficiency in property management software is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
