House Manager Job Description:

Scheduling

• prepare schedule for FOH
• scheduling staff based off customer traffic and sales projections
• work through Square to maintain schedule updates and notifications Communication
• communicate customer orders and feedback to back of house baking team
• participate in weekly kitchen meetings and relaying messages to staff through our communication APP Employees
• management for front of house items i.e. packaging, signage and display items
• assist in training & updating part time employees with procedures
• coaching to maintain high customer service standards: Customer service
• responsible for customer interaction/issues
• answering phone calls and directing clients towards correct means of problem solving their issues or requests
• utmost importance is customer service & keeping us in the loop with any and all issues
• make notes & bring up in weekly meetings
• Unhappy customers
• handle customer complaints and resolving issues effectively Display Case/product
• Manage product first in and first out (includes online store cakes)/quality control (items in the case for too long, we want to know it’s not selling) Set up how the case should look each day
• update flavor lists accordingly Manage online store and its inventory
• orders & product quantities prepare boxes and package orders for pick up
