Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food handling. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage practices are followed. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with culinary standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food management. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and kitchen facilities. Utilize POS systems for order processing and cash handling efficiently. Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service quality. Experience Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, culinary techniques, and fine dining standards is essential. Experience managing shifts in a fast-paced environment such as hotels or bars is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems is required; experience with various point-of-sale software is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. A passion for coffee or specialty beverages is considered an asset.
